This sweet guy is six foot five and enjoying his senior year of high school. Stephen plays basketball, plans to study engineering and is an awesome big brother to three sweet little sisters. I know that his mom is super proud of him and I'm so thankful to have been able to capture this exciting time in his life to look back on later. When editing these images I could see the man he will become and as a mom myself I can also see the boy he was. He is adorable! Here are a few of my favorites for you to enjoy!
How adorable is this family!? I was a little sentimental during this session because I remember how amazing and wonderful it is to be a new little family. There really is nothing like it. Your husband is now a Daddy for the first time and the love you feel for them is indescribable! And all those sweet little moments you try to hang onto even though you are absolutely exhausted. Lol! I am so thankful they chose me to be their family photographer. I hope the Decoud family will look fondly back on these images when their little one is grown. They are only little once. :)
This was a very special session for me. I am not a wedding photographer so large groups of people are not my specialty. But families are! And this was a very special day because Janet and Doug had all four of their grown children and five grandchildren all in the same place for the Thanksgiving holiday. With family living all over the country this is not always possible. I just kept thinking how proud they must be. All that work that goes into parenting and they did it! Their children are all awesome people and have created some awesome little people of their own. :) So I took a breathe and did what I'm good at...looking for pretty light and capturing that love that families have. And as you can see it all worked out okay! Here are the images I am most proud of.
I love the Truett family!! They are just the sweetest kids you will ever meet. My favorite part of our session was when mom and dad were super silly behind me while I got some genuine smiles and laughter from their kiddos. So funny! I hope you enjoy a few of my favorites from our time together.
This is one beautiful family! I am so thankful to be able to capture their littles growing up a little more every year. We had fun walking around the nature preserve and the kids actually thought it was my farm. Lol! So cute! Here are a few of my favorites for you to enjoy. :)
I just adore this family! I have watched them grow from being new parents to being out numbered with three. :) I am so thankful to be their family photographer and to capture all the cuteness throughout the years.
Do you remember this time in your life? Senior year of high school is that intense moment in our lives full of important choices, fun, stress, enjoying friendships maybe for the last time and the future all right before you. It's exciting! I love capturing this time...when we are both a child and a grown up. It's pretty awesome. Here are a few of my favorites from Jacob's session. Aren't his dimples cute? :) Enjoy!
This sweet girl is turning one! Becky is just adorable and SO loved! She was very curious about the kids playing on a nearby hill and less interested in the cake but we managed to get some really sweet images. Enjoy a few of my favorites from our session!Read More
This family is just beautiful! Kylie is my super talented hair stylist and owner of The Knot Salon. I was so happy when she asked me to take her family photos again this year. Here are a few of my favorites from our session. Enjoy!
I had such a great time taking family pictures for the Nevisons. I had the honor of being Molly's teacher last year. She is super smart, sweet, and a true leader. After getting to know her amazing parents I can see where she gets it. Here are a few of my favorites from our time together.
These two little blondies were full of energy, curiosity, and love! I hope you enjoy seeing these images as much as I loved editing them :)
It was so nice to catch up with an old friend from high school and get to meet her beautiful family! Enjoy these favorites from their session.
This little man was just adorable. I love all his cute and very serious expressions. Here are a few of my favorites for you to enjoy!
I recently had the opportunity to take beautiful baby Aili's newborn photos. I absolutely love capturing this special time for families. I remember when I had my second little girl and how tired we were, but oh so happy. My favorite part of this session was seeing the love this sweet family has for each other. Mahri was so precious holding her baby sister (with a little help from Mom). Here are a few images of our afternoon together.
I had the pleasure of taking the adorable Victoria's smash cake pictures. Poor babygirl had an ear infection but you would never know with all those sweet smiles. It was hot and humid but Victoria was cheerful and just a joy to work with. I love this age! They really are only little once and I'm so happy I was able to capture this time for her family. My favorite images are of Victoria and her big sister Bella. You can see that these too are so close. There is nothing better than having a sister. These are a few of my favorites for you to enjoy!
I had the wonderful opportunity to take family pictures for the oh so beautiful Phillippi family. Their littles were ages one and three which can be challenging ages to photograph but they were just so sweet and happy. We had intended on meeting at one location but had to quickly change plans when the main road was shut down. But it all worked out beautifully because we ended up at the Grapevine Botanical Gardens. The main garden area was in use due to a wedding but the greenery in the back and the opportunity for the little ones to explore could not have been more perfect. My favorites are of Sutton and Weston sitting together with her head resting a little on his...just sweetness. These are the moments we must hold onto. Because they are only little once and for such a short time. I hope that when they are grown they look back on these pictures in a family album somewhere and smile :)
